Tailgating & Tents

Speedway 22 offers room for parking and tailgating for the Indy 500. Tailgating is allowed directly behind your vehicle (maximum 5 tailgaters), and propane and charcoal grills are permitted. Larger groups require the purchase of additional space. Port-a-potties are available onsite, and parking staff will be located on the premises throughout the day and evenings.

Tents are allowed with a separate reservation. Tent size is limited to 10' x 10', with a maximum of one tent space per vehicle reservation. Larger tailgates or tents may require multiple reserved spaces. Guests are responsible for packing out their trash and following all lot rules and local ordinances. 

Important Parking Information

For Indy 500 race day, the lot opens at 6:00 a.m. No pets are allowed, and no re-entry is permitted. Maximum five people are allowed per reserved parking space. As with all lots, guests park at their own risk, and all sales are final with no refunds regardless of circumstances.

IMPORTANT: To set up a tent, you must have both a vehicle reservation and a separate tent reservation. Maximum tent size is 10' x 10'. Larger setups may require multiple spaces.
