Like any other sports town, parking and tailgating on game day is a top priority. All entrance gates to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are open on Indianapolis 500 Race Day. To ensure smooth entry, it is recommended that all fans arrive at the gate closest to their seating location before 10 a.m.

Road Closures

Closures will occur between 16th Street and Olin Avenue starting at approximately 11 a.m. Polco Street will not be accessible northbound from 10th Street during this time.

Georgetown Road, south of 25th Street, will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting at 6 a.m. To access parking lots along Georgetown Road after 6 a.m. southbound traffic should take 25th Street to Auburn Street, northbound traffic should take Crawfordsville Road to Winton Avenue.
