On July 28th, Real Madrid will take on Chelsea in an International Champions Cup match at the University of Michigan football stadium. In 2014 the match between Manchester United and Real Madrid drew over 109,000 rabid soccer fans, setting a record for a soccer game held on US soil. All signs point to attendance for this game being the same, if not larger!

If this will be your first visit to an Ann Arbor event at the Big House you're in for the experience of a lifetime. There's nothing like being in the middle of 109,000 excited fans cheering on their team. The City of Ann Arbor's population is about 116,000. The Big House sits right on the edge of the University of Michigan's property. This means parking is in tight supply for premium events like the Guinness Cup.

Parking
As with any large event at the Big House, cash parking on the day of the event will be extremely limed! Parking lots for the Real Madrid vs Chelsea FC game will range in type from individual homes parking cars in their yard to larger public lots, to traditional downtown parking structures. There are only a couple routes into Ann Arbor, getting to a parking lot will take some patience. Making a parking reservation for the game is a great idea! You'll alleviate a lot of stress and have more time to enjoy the event.
